Jess in A Bold Choice

Jessica is an actor, writer and producer who embraces the unconventional. In 2022, she made her directorial debut in ‘A Bold Choice’ which she also wrote and produced. She won the ‘Best Open Actor’ award at the Focus on Ability Film Festival for her portrayal of protagonist Alice. 

‘A Bold Choice’ was selected as part of the SBS’ favourite films as part of their Focus on Ability Festival program, and was recently screened on the Aurora Channel in March 2023.

Her other credits include award winning short ‘My Name is Richard’, along with Consume (2019) and ‘Ella’ (2021) which screened at the Academy accredited Flickerfest. Jessica was featured in Aussie Indie Feature, ‘Salt Along the Tongue’ which had it’s premiere at SXSW Sydney in 2024.

As an Actor, Jessica has trained at NIDA, Screenwise, Sydney Actors Collective, Acting Mastery and AAFTA to name a few. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Communication (Media Arts and Production) at UTS, graduating in 2020.

In 2024, Jessica became a recipient of Creative Australia’s Match Lab Program, for her upcoming sophomore short film ‘Mannequin’ in which she wrote, will co-produce and star in.
